From Carcassonne to the Camargue.
Cruising east on the Canal du Midi from Carcassonne to the end of the canal and cross Etang de Thau from Marseillan to Frontignan near Sète. From here onto the Canal du Rhône à Sète to Aigues-Mortes in the Camargue, exploring the canal to Grau-du-Roi and the Rivers Vidourle and Lez. We took our boat out for painting at Allemand boatyard in Grau-d'Agde on the River Herault and back to Carcassonne for our third winter in France.
