The Parkway Hotel, Adel, Leeds
Our friends Judi and Dave's son Mathew married Katie this month, we enjoyed a short visit to Leeds for this special occasion. This hotel is only a short distance from were they and family live, also a short drive away to St John the Baptist Church, Adel Leeds, were they were married.

The guests all gather in St John's for the wedding, the vicar included us all in this service.
This old church had a wonderful feeling when you entered, warm and inviting also the church was filled with the smell of fresh cut flowers.
The New Rector of St John's is Dr Ian White.
Dr Ian White joined this church in July, he brought some really magic moments and joy to Katie and Mathew's ceremony, he especially made us photographers very welcome indeed. I am sure he will bring much joy to this lovely old church. Sadly I could find no history or dates on this churches web site. this would have been helpful to me when writing this page.

Jane worked really hard on learning the "reading" prior to the Katie and Mathew's wedding, everyone was very proud of her, a gifted speaker in the making I thought. Katie's talented family entertained us well, with the sound of live music playing while Katie and Mathew signed the registrar.
